Madison Hartos

MSc Physical Therapy

“You will question yourself and that is OK. It's normal to feel like that. Choose optimism, choose to prioritize you and your needs, and learn how to communicate that effectively.”

Madison has been an athlete her entire life and has dealt with chronic pain and recurring injuries due to hypermobility. As a result, Madison frequently visited physiotherapy clinics. Additionally, she witnessed physiotherapists help her family members navigate their own medical conditions and minimize the effects of these medical conditions on the quality of their life.

These lived experiences drew Madison to the field of physical therapy. It showed her the value of patient-centred care and the importance of providing treatment with a holistic approach. Armed with this new perspective, Madison began her academic journey.

Madison hopes to pursue a full sport physiotherapy certification in the near future.
