Dental Hygiene Photovoice Narrative Exhibit

Dental Hygiene's exhibit at Health Sciences library displays the artistic side of students.

Jessalyn King - 13 December 2019

Is there art in dentistry? Absolutely! Dental Hygiene has an exhibit up at Health Sciences library at the University.

The exhibit shows the work of fourth-year Dental Hygiene students, completed during their advanced practicum. The assignment aimed "to create critical discussion about the views of less powerful members of a community," and used the photovoice research method, which accesses the creative writing and photography talents of our students.

The exhibit is up until January 10th at the John W. Scott Health Sciences Library within the Walter C Mackenzie Health Sciences Centre. We hope you'll have a chance to pop by and experience the students' work.
