Hiring announcement: Director of Recruitment Marketing

External Relations is pleased to announce that Jaylene Ulmer will join the marketing team as the Director of Recruitment Marketing, effective September 27.

Jaylene will work collaboratively with the marketing leadership team, communication partners, and key stakeholders to develop the strategic direction of enrolment marketing strategies as they relate to domestic, international, graduate and extension recruitment marketing. Jaylene joins us from her current position as the Director of Marketing & Communications within the Registrar’s Office where she has been responsible for strategic development of integrated marketing and communications initiatives, with an emphasis on national student recruitment and student engagement.

In her more than 17 year career, Jaylene has developed a passion and expertise in brand development, recruitment marketing, and community engagement. Before joining the U of A, Jaylene led the development of national, award-winning marketing campaigns along with an impressive and highly successful place branding initiative with Economic Development Lethbridge.
