Hiring announcement: Director, Faculty Development, College of Natural and Applied Sciences and College of Social Sciences and Humanities

Katherine Millen Worré will be joining the team as Director, Faculty Development for the College of Natural and Applied Sciences and College of Social Sciences and Humanities.  In this role, Katherine will work with deans and faculty development leaders within the colleges’ faculties to foster relationships and enhance the planning and development of fundraising priorities and projects. Katherine cultivated her passion for philanthropy and the role it plays in advancing higher education during her more than 20 years in development in Canada and abroad. Joining the U of A in 2016, Katherine led the advancement programs in Library and Museums, Public Health, and most recently has served as Interim Director of Faculty Development of Health Sciences.  Prior to joining the university, Katherine gained valuable experience working internationally for the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the United Nations in New York City, the Freie Universitat Berlin in Berlin, Germany and New York, and Seton Hall University - South Orange, New Jersey. Katherine also spent eight years as a fundraising consultant in Paris, France where she helped anglophone institutions achieve their development goals. She holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.
