Moving to this new operating model, a process now well-underway through SET, represents a major transformation of the U of A’s operations. This level of change is challenging. I want to thank all of you for your extraordinary commitment to working together through this period of uncertainty.

Please join us at the town hall on Tuesday, June 15 at 2:30 p.m. If you have questions about the operating model as you review the materials distributed today, please submit them here. We look forward to speaking with you and hearing your thoughts on how we can work together to implement the model.

Thank you again for your exceptional efforts over the last year, amid the many challenges of COVID and institutional change. I encourage everyone to take their vacation and recharge. As things begin to re-open and we can once again spend time with family and friends, please enjoy all that this summer will bring for personal and community renewal and recovery.

Bill Flanagan
President and Vice-Chancellor
