Program Requirements

Minor in WGS
The minor in WGS requires a minimum of *18 in WGS or cross-listed courses including at least:
- *3 at the 300-level
- *3 at the 400 level
Major in WGS
The major in WGS requires a minimum of *30 in WGS or cross-listed classes.
Students must complete the following:
- *9 selected from:
- WGS 301 (History of Feminist Thought)
- WGS 302 (Feminist Research and Methodology)
- WGS 332 (Contemporary Feminist Theory), or
- WGS 360 (Race, Class, Gender)
- *9 at the 400-level in WGS or cross-listed courses, including a minimum *6 in WGS courses
Honours in WGS
Honours in WGS requires a minimum of *48 in WGS or cross-listed Courses.
Students must complete the following:
- *6 selected from:
- WGS 301 (History of Feminist Thought),
- WGS 332 (Contemporary Feminist Theory), or
- WGS 360 (Race, Class, Gender)
- WGS 302 (Feminist Research and Methodology)
- WGS 402 (Honours Thesis in WGS, *6)
- *6 in WGS courses at the 400-level
