Network to Net Zero Webinar on March 28, 2024

Sign up for our upcoming Network to Net Zero Webinar to learn about how CSL supports local non-profit organizations to provide experiences in climate change mitigation projects.

18 March 2024

Community Service-Learning (CSL) is currently working with the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER), and with support of the Government of Canada, to help build foundational green skills for UAlberta students. Through this program, we can potentially provide financial support to our sustainability-focused partners to recognize their time spent mentoring CSL students.

What is BHER?

A non-partisan, not-for-profit organization that brings together Canada’s largest companies and leading post-secondary institutions to build opportunities for young Canadians, boost innovation and drive collaboration.

What is the goal of this partnership?

CSL will support local non-profit organizations that host CSL students to provide experiences in climate change mitigation projects. This partnership aims to build environmental literacies required for a greener culture and economy.

CSL is hosting an upcoming webinar with Community Campus Engage Canada.

This one-hour online session will introduce the Network to Net Zero project to community partners across Canada, featuring an overview of the UAlberta CSL model by our director, David Peacock.
