We are proud to announce that nine U of A students competed in the 29th Alberta District Speech Contest at the University of Alberta on March 8, 2020. Vidal Tavares, Zhiyue Zhang, and Wu Zhongyuan were placed within the top three of their categories. Vidal and Zhiyue will give their speeches again in the 31st Canada National Japanese Speech Contest on March 29, 2020.
