The Department is delighted to announce that Ashley Sims has successfully defended her PhD dissertation, "'Give Over All Trade and Become a Country Gentleman:' Material Culture, Masculinity, and Social Mobility in Globalized Europe, 1600-1700." Her supervisor is Professor Beverly Lemire.
