About the creators or our Story Map

William (Liam) Wadsworth is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Anthropology/ Institute of Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology at the University of Alberta. He specializes in applying geophysics/remote sensing techniques to Canadian archaeology, primarily at the request of Indigenous communities. He brings his GIS skills to the UAlberta North Story Map team. 


Kaitlin Young is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Alberta.  Her work looks at studying the idea of imaginary futures and broadening notions of extraction in Greenland.  Kaitlin has been working on the Story Map for a few years and is responsible for the content creation.
