Congratulations to Philosophy MA student Avontay Williams, recipient of the 2023 Faculty of Arts Graduate Student Teaching Award! The Award letter describes Avontay as "an exceptional teacher, dedicated to enriching the undergraduate student experience and to fostering student engagement and success".

Avontay has been an active volunteer for the Alberta High School Ethics Bowl and is completing his Master's degree in Philosophy, specializing in ethics, at the University of Alberta.
