The Provost & Vice-President (Academic) is responsible for all academic programs at the University of Alberta. The Office supports faculties in moving program proposals through required approval processes.

Deans Selections and Reviews
The Provost and Vice-President (Academic) has administrative responsibility for the selection and review of Deans. Recommendations on the appointment and reappointment of Deans are made to the President. Find information about Deans selection and review processes currently underway.
