The ADI Studentship Awards would not be possible without the support of our donors. Thank you for your generous donations and supporting diabetes research at the Alberta Diabetes Institute.

The Alberta Diabetes Foundation supports diabetes research in Alberta through funding innovative research for the prevention and treatment of all forms of diabetes.

The Blanch Graduate Award, funded by Morley and Val Blanch in memory of Val's brother Keith Toogood. They hope that research at Alberta Diabetes Institute will continue to help their son Colin and others who have diabetes.

The Gladys Woodrow Wirtanen Studentships was established by a generous contribution from Mr Ernest Wirtanen through the Alberta Diabetes Foundation to support students and trainees at the masters, graduate level and fellows.

Ivari is committed to improving the quality of Canadian lives through funding research to understand the links among diabetes, heart disease & obesity.

Matthias Braun Memorial Studentship Award funds research excellence in islet biology to commemorate the late Dr Matthias Braun from the Alberta Diabetes Institute.

The Muttart Diabetes Research and Training Centre yearly funding gives way to opportunities to train graduate students interested in diabetes research. Selection is based on the applicant's academic standing, research potential and career goals.
