The UofA Concert Choir & Madrigal Singers join forces for this special Choral Area performance. The program showcases a wide variety of choral music from early English & Italian Madrigals to contemporary works on nature by Andrew Balfour, Eriks Esenvalds, Katerina Gimon, R. Murray Schafer and Sherryl Sewepagaham. We'll also feature a work for choir and electronics by contemporary German composer Dominik Dieterle, based on John Dowland's "Come heavy sleep." Enjoy the incredible sounds of our Music Department Choirs!
