Update on the Campus Saint-Jean entrance sign

The University of Alberta recently updated signage to align with new institutional branding. This included updated signage at the entrance to all campuses. 

The omission of the French wording from the Campus Saint-Jean entrance sign was a significant and regrettable error. We apologize to the French-speaking communities and members of the Campus Saint-Jean community. 

The sign will be removed immediately, and a new entrance sign will be installed that reflects both the unique cultural French-speaking identity of the Campus, and the new institutional branding.

The University of Alberta regrets this occurrence and wishes to confirm our commitment to providing a highly enriched French learning experience.
