The Department is active and productive in many areas of medical research including disease mechanisms, new treatments and clinical trials of treatment. Members of the Department regularly present their findings at local, national and international meetings and publish in peer reviewed and international publications.

Graduate Program Advisors/Research Administrators

The Graduate Program Advisors/Research Administrators in the Office of Research are the first point of contact for inquiries related to the graduate education program, postdoctoral fellows and research administration in the department with:

  • Answering inquiries from potential Graduate Students (MSc and PhD) and Postdoctoral Fellows
  • Assisting with applying for enrollment
  • Supporting the Research Training Committee
  • Administers all Department of Medicine education courses
  • Provides support for obtaining Chair's signatures
  • Provide support Ethics Approvals
  • Provides overall support to the DoM Office of Research
