North Campus Road Closures: 2021 World Triathlon Championship Finals

WHAT
The 2021 World Triathlon Championship Finals Edmonton is being held near North Campus. To keep triathletes and others safe, City of Edmonton crews will be implementing road closures during the cycling portion. Please plan your route accordingly.
Scheduled road closures:
- Saturday, August 21
116 Street from Edinboro Road NW to Saskatchewan Drive and Saskatchewan Drive from 116 Street to the North HUB Mall access road will be closed - Sunday, August 22
Saskatchewan Drive from 116 Street to the North HUB Mall access road will be closed
On Friday, August 20, there are no scheduled road closures. However, cyclists will be practicing and familiarizing themselves on the roadways. Please be mindful while driving in the area.
WHAT ELSE
Vehicle traffic, including deliveries, will be prohibited on these roadways on these dates and times.
In addition to North Campus Road closures, Groat Road and Emily Murphy Park Road NW, adjacent to North Campus, will be closed for the same time period. Campus commuters should choose alternate routes.
