What is the difference between the Edmonton Clinic and the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy?
The Edmonton Clinic Heath Academy (ECHA) houses academic spaces including classrooms, lecture theatres, research, office and administrative spaces for health sciences faculty members, staff and students. ECHA is a research and education space.
The Kaye Edmonton Clinic provides coordinated diagnostic and specialist ambulatory services to patients and their families in a fully integrated facility. The Kaye Edmonton Clinic houses partner clinics such as the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic and the University of Alberta's Department of Dentistry. Outpatients see health practitioners in the Kaye Edmonton Clinic.
The buildings are joined by a pedway that also connects with the LRT Health Sciences/Jubilee platform and the Walter C. Mackenzie Centre (University of Alberta Hospital) and, via a second pedway, the Katz Building and the Medical Sciences Building. The Edmonton Clinic was planned as a partnership between Alberta Health Services and the University of Alberta to provide an environment that enables health professionals, students and researchers to share space, time, clients and information to the benefit of clinical care, health education and health research. The Edmonton Clinic leverages technology to improve clinical care, education and research.
Where can I park?
