Your Academics

Academic Advisors provide academic assistance throughout your university career. There are two types of Advisors available to science students. Please contact the advisor designated for your degree program.

The BSc program provides you with a diverse education in more than one branch of study. You will major in a Science subject area of concentration and you may elect to minor in a Science subject area of from Arts, ALES or Business.

Over the next few weeks, the Faculty of Science will have reduced advising hours as we work to complete admissions for Fall 2020. We know many of you have questions about the upcoming year. We will be hosting several Zoom sessions to go over details about the Fall, review Academic Advisement Report where you can check your degree progress, and answer other questions you may have.

Please note, the maximum number of participants in each session is 300. After each session, we will add to our Fall 2020 FAQ.

To sign up for a session, register using your ualberta email. Please only sign up for one session.
