Badminton Club

Important Badminton Registration Process

Due to overwhelming interest in our club, please follow our 2 step registration process:

Step 1
To register for the club, fill out our club internal registration form (this must be done before AIMS to let us cap the number of registered participants) - see our social media for links and more information.

Step 2
Complete your AIMS registration. Completing your AIMS registration without prior completion to Step 1 does not result in membership to the club.

The University of Alberta Badminton Club provides recreational badminton to interested players of all skill levels. The Club practices 6-7 hours per week, making it a great opportunity to meet new people, train, and play with students and community members with a wide variety of backgrounds.

The Club holds ~2 tournaments per semester (Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer), which are open to both club members and non-members, providing ample opportunity to improve your skills.

During the year, the Club holds social events and intra-club tournaments. For those who are new to the sport and would like the opportunity to stop by prior to registration, there are drop-in times available depending on gym capacity.

Due to high interest and limited spots, membership cards must be picked up within four weeks of the first session of the semester or will be considered forfeited.
