Climbing Club

The University of Alberta Climbing was introduced to provide a format for climbers of various abilities to find like-minded individuals, develop their skills, and share their enthusiasm for the sport. By giving back to the climbing community while promoting the sport and helping others to participate, the Climbing Club focuses on safety and providing an environment where climbers can find partners of similar interests and skill levels.

Working with the Wilson Climbing Centre, the Climbing Club will practice for 2 hours each week to introduce those who are just learning, focus on basic movement technique and training top rope, lead, belay, and route setting.

The Climbing Club offers a great opportunity to meet new people and join an outstanding community of support, friendly competition, and FUN!
