Public Health and Preventive Medicine Program Committee

The Residency Program Committee (RPC) is responsible for assisting the program director in the planning, organization and supervision of the program to meet the general standards of Royal College accreditation and PHPM specialty-specific standards.

The Public Health and Preventive Medicine program has not yet transitioned to Competence by Design (CBD) but is anticipated to do so in July of 2023. Following the national specialty committee and Royal College approval of the final CBD document suite (Competencies, Required Training Experiences, EPA Guide, and Pathways to Competence) for Public Health and Preventive Medicine, the Residency Program Committee (RPC) will approve a curriculum map that reflects the rotations on which competencies, training experiences, and EPAs can be achieved.
