Yuliya Fakhr is a health innovation and education leader focused on translating emerging technologies into practical, real-world impact. As the current Director of Education and Technology Strategy at the Alberta Dental Association, she leads the development of modern, digitally enabled learning experiences for healthcare professionals.

A University of Alberta alumna with a PhD in Medical Sciences (2022), she has worked across research, government, and innovation ecosystems, including Alberta Innovates and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. She also teaches leadership frameworks and responsible AI integration to corporate partners and through MacEwan University Continuing Education, equipping professionals to adopt new technologies, platforms thoughtfully and effectively in a teams-based approach.

Through her role on the Alumni Council, she is committed to fostering a more connected alumni community centered on mentorship, innovation, and lifelong learning.
