Global Community Service Grants

Three new Global Community Service Grants!

Katherine Thompson - 1 January 2012

The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce the creation of three Global Community Service Grants of $5000 each. The grants will provide financial assistance to law students who wish to become involved in projects and activities that serve the larger community, either in Canada or abroad.

The grants are available to students who are presently enrolled in their first year or second year of law studies, and are designed to assist them to pursue community service activities during the summer months between their studies at the Faculty of Law.

The Prizes and Awards Committee will be sending out an email to eligible law students that will set out the terms of the award and the application process. I would like to thank the Prizes and Awards Committee for their work on developing the selection criteria and the Law Students Association for their support of this initiative.
