The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) here at the University of Alberta reports that the application deadline for the Shell Enhanced Learning Fund (SELF) is April 15, 2012.
The Shell Enhanced Learning fund (SELF) is a program supported by Shell Canada Limited that provides support to students who wish to engage in experiential learning opportunities. During the first cycle, 32 applicants collectively received nearly $50,000 in funding and we wish to ensure that students continue to take advantage of this exciting program.
Eligible activities include: conference attendance, individual and student team field trips, student team projects (e.g. U of A EcoCar Team), etc. An annual symposium will be held in November 2012, which affords a unique opportunity for students to provide feedback on the impact of the program and to directly engage industry.
