Professor Timothy Caulfield's talk at 2013 Trottier Symposium

13 November 2013

UAlberta Faculty of Law Professor Timothy Caulfield recently presented a talk on "The Truth About What Makes Us Healthy" at the 2013 Lorne Trottier Public Science Symposium at McGill University.

People have long known the basic steps to good health. The truth is, in fact, relatively straightforward. But there are a vast number of social forces twisting what we are told about how to avoid disease, lose weight, get fit, and prevent the inevitable decay that comes with aging. In this talk, Professor Timothy Caulfield outlined both the social forces that distort the presentation of health information and simple truth about what makes us healthy.
