Faculty of Law Communications - 15 September 2014

Congratulations to third year law students Lindsay Burgess and Frances Wallace, and to law alumna Jenilee Guebert. ACT Alberta, a leading non-governmental organization working on the prevention and prosecution of human trafficking in Alberta, has recently published the work done by the three law students during the Winter 2014 Term.

The three papers were written as part of a research project supervised by Faculty of Law Professor Joanna Harrington that was designed to assist the community organization, while also providing the students with practice-ready skills in advanced legal research, problem-solving, and written communication. The three students also earned academic credit for their work, now featured on the ACT Alberta website.
