On Wednesday, November 18, 2015, Peter Freeman Q.C., passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife, Barbara by his side.
Freeman was a former member of the Faculty of Law and Law Librarian from the late 1960s until becoming Director and Chief Librarian for the University of Alberta from 1982 - 1989. Thereafter he became Secretary of the Law Society of Alberta until his retirement in 2001.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 12810 - 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2 or to a charity of one's choice.
