There are 120 inspiring nominees, and Canadian Lawyer is looking for readers' support in selecting the top 5 lawyers and judges in the following 5 categories:

  • Corporate-commercial, including litigation, deals, class actions, etc.

  • Criminal law/human rights

  • Changemakers in any area or type of practice who have been leaders or catalysts for positive change in any area of the profession such as diversity, law firm management, the courts, education, etc.

  • Government/non-profits/associations, including public inquiries, officers of Parliament, the courts, and academic institutions

  • The world stage: Canadian lawyers and judges who have an influence on law and society beyond our borders.

Candidates have been placed in a category relating to their nomination, not necessarily reflecting their main area of practice.

Online voting is available to all -- including lawyers, judges, faculty, students, and general public -- until June 9. (Categories are identified progressively from page to page.)

Please take the time to read through the amazing nominees and give us your picks for whom you think are the most worthy of being honoured.
