Professor Timothy Caulfield's Latest Book Wins Canadian Science Writers' Association Award

Congratulations to Professor Timothy Caulfield, whose book Is Gwyneth Paltrow Wrong About Everything? (Penguin Random House Canada) has won the 2015 Science in Society General Book Award from the Canadian Science Writers' Association. The CSWA announced the winners of the 2015 Science in Society Book Awards in conjunction with Canada Book Day festivities on April 23, 2016. Professor Caulfield will be presented with his award on June 4, 2016 at the CSWA's annual conference at the University of Guelph. For more information on the awards, visit the CSWA website.

Timothy Caulfield is a Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy and a Professor in the Faculty of Law and the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta. He has been the Research Director of the Health Law Institute at the University of Alberta since 1993. Professor Caulfield is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and writes frequently for the popular press on a range of health and science policy issues.
