UAlberta Law students flock to Small Firms Career Day

Event an opportunity for students to learn about life at a small firm.

Priscilla Popp - 3 March 2017

Seventeen law firms gathered at UAlberta Law on March 2 for Small Firms Career Day. The event, presented by Career Services and the Student Articling Committee, provided students with the opportunity to meet with representatives of small firms and learn about life practicing at a small firm.

Dean Paton was on hand at the event to speak with students and greet lawyers, who were kept busy as a constant flow of students made their way to each booth. Students asked questions and gained insight into the work and atmosphere at small firms and how it varies from that of larger firms.

Thank you to Litwiniuk & Co. in Calgary for generously providing lunch for the second year in a row.
