In Photos: 2023 Indigenous Graduation Celebration

On April 13, the University of Alberta Faculty of Law celebrated the Indigenous students of the Class of 2023, surrounded by friends, family, alumni and special guests.
The evening featured a smudge and opening prayer provided by Mosom Rick Lightning, speeches by Dean Barbara Billingsley and Indigenous Law Students’ Association president Gavin Cazon-Wilkes, the presentation of Eagle Feathers to the graduating students and a surprise guest appearance by alumnus Chief Wilton Littlechild.
