Curriculum Working Groups
The purpose of curriculum working groups is to:
- update course objectives every 24 months
- update course assessments every 24 months
- ensure integration of longitudinal themes
- ensure use of MedSISs and course outlines
- ensure alignment between pre-clerkship and clerkship curriculum
- ensure/review the coverage of the course-level objectives via the teaching, learning and assessment activities of the course, accreditation information
Members of curriculum working groups include the assistant dean, curriculum as chair, and the following participants:
- course/clerkship coordinators (topic specific)
- director, clerkship
- curriculum team lead
- curriculum planning specialist
- director, longitudinal themes
- family medicine coordinator
- medical student representative
- admin for the course
