Curriculum Working Groups

The purpose of curriculum working groups is to:

  • update course objectives every 24 months
  • update course assessments every  24 months
  • ensure integration of longitudinal themes
  • ensure use of MedSISs and course outlines
  • ensure alignment between pre-clerkship and clerkship curriculum
  • ensure/review the coverage of the course-level objectives via the teaching, learning and assessment activities of the course, accreditation information

Members of curriculum working groups include the assistant dean, curriculum as chair, and the following participants: 

  • course/clerkship coordinators (topic specific)
  • director, clerkship
  • curriculum team lead
  • curriculum planning specialist
  • director, longitudinal themes
  • family medicine coordinator
  • medical student representative
  • admin for the course
