Cost: Thanks to generous funding from the Student Experience Fund alumni donors, these sessions are free for students (A comparable training package would typically cost over $1000).

What’s Included in the Series?
To complete the series, you must attend all four 3-hour sessions to enter a mandatory logo contest. The networking event is optional, but highly recommended.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, review your work with the instructor, and receive personalized feedback and practical suggestions.

You’ll have the opportunity to submit the logo you design during the sessions into a contest. Submissions will be judged by a panel of marketers, designers, and company representatives. The winner will receive cash prizes for the top candidates and a digital badge to showcase on LinkedIn.

This networking event brings together students and professionals from marketing and design to share insights, give feedback, and inspire future careers. Students will receive constructive feedback from industry experts on their logos, explore how marketers and designers collaborate, and learn about diverse career paths in these fields.

What will I gain?
Students who complete all four mandatory sessions will receive a CWIL-accredited digital badge to display on LinkedIn and include in their resume, as well as gain access to the exclusive logo design contest—where the winning logo will be awarded with a cash prize.

This experience will:

  • Provide a hands-on introduction to the design side of marketing
  • Enhance your employability by giving you a tangible, verifiable achievement that demonstrates initiative and commitment to your education
  • Equip you with the vocabulary and knowledge needed to effectively collaborate with designers in future roles
  • Help you build a portfolio project that you can speak to in interviews or showcase online
  • Offer exposure to real-world branding challenges and feedback from marketing and design professionals
  • Give you a competitive edge when applying for internships, co-ops, or marketing-related positions.
