Alberta electricity power: solar, transmission lines, and wind

The Centre for Applied Business Research in Energy and the Environment (CABREE) is an independent research centre located within the School of Business at the University of Alberta.

Given the importance of the energy and environmental sectors to the provincial and national economies our centre is focused on energy market and climate change analysis in support of the public policy development and debate. Our analysis draws from business economics, finance and quantitative modelling, as well as from associated disciplines.

Our students actively participate in research projects and interact with decision makers in the private and public sectors through centre activities.
