Our Mission

The mission of the Graduate Business Student Association is to improve the overall quality and value of the MBA, MMA and MAcc experience for the student body.

The goals of the GBSA are to coordinate and support initiatives which:

  • Promote involvement and social interaction within the Graduate Business student body
  • Foster strong relationships between Graduate students and faculty, alumni, industry, and the broader community
  • Encourage and celebrate our diverse student population
  • Facilitate the delivery of high quality professional, academic, and supportive programs and services

Member Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Graduate students at The Business Alumni Association, The Graduate Study Policy Review Committee, The Business Council and more.
  • Facilitate communication between the GBSA and the MBA, MMA and MAcc Student Body, including the GBSA website, calendar of events, and event promotions. Oversee the spending of all clubs and committees.
  • Develop and promote events for the GBSA student body spanning full-time and part-time students, Encourage interaction between the international and domestic student populations through cross-cultural events and activities.
  • Work closely with the Master's Office to plan and promote experiential learning initiatives
  • Organize the annual flagship event - Business Graduate Gala.
