Research

Broadly speaking, I am interested in the study of emotion regulation and psychological interventions in response to shame-related distress. My most recent interests include acceptance-based approaches for working with emotions in psychotherapy, with a particular emphasis on compassion-focused therapy and mindfulness practice. As a counselling psychologist collaborating with researchers across multiple disciplines, I am also interested in issues related to conducting interdisciplinary research.
