Coming Fall 2018

As online payment has become the norm, the number of in-person payments at the U of A has declined significantly. Financial Services is phasing out in-person payments in the Administration Building as a result.

The Student Receivable Counter will remain open (Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 4 PM) for inquiries related to student loan payments, third party invoicing, refunds, collections, disbursement and repayment of emergency loans, and overall tuition account and payment inquires.

Payment options available to students include:
-Bill payment - online or in person at local bank
-Interac online (through Bear Tracks)
-Cheque - mail in or drop off
-Western Union/Global Pay - wire payment (for international students or students studying abroad)
-Credit Card - via third party payment platform Plastiq (convenience fees apply)

Financial Services will not turn away students paying in person in September 2018 - however, the office is working to educate the university community about the upcoming changes and the options available.
