Brain Waves is a half-day, in-school, neuroscience presentation for grades 4-6 that focuses on the brain, spinal cord, concussions, and the importance of injury prevention. Volunteers are needed for these half-day presentations in February and March. The time commitment is a 2-hour training session for new volunteers and one in-school presentation between 19 February to 21 March 2019.
Previous neuroscience background, knowledge or experience is not required. Volunteers are placed into groups of 2 or 3 (you can even coordinate with a friend to present in the same classroom!).
