Message for Moroccan and Libyan Students

The Graduate Students' Association extends its heartfelt condolences to all students affected by the recent catastrophic events, including the 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya. We understand that international students who come to Canada to pursue their studies already face numerous challenges, and natural disasters further exacerbate their difficulties.
We want to assure all students facing financial hardships as a result of these circumstances that the GSA is here to help. You can reach out to us for our emergency bursary or for guidance on other available financial assistance programs.
Furthermore, we encourage you to contact the GSA for information on accessing mental health resources provided by the University. In times of adversity, seeking support and being part of a community can be incredibly comforting, and the GSA is fully committed to assisting students in every way possible.
