Rose M. Carter, KC, brings more than 30 years' experience in the health law field. Rose assists companies, medical practitioners, as well as scientific professionals, navigate the regulatory requirements of private and public practice, including assisting physicians wishing to expand their practices in to the field of Non-Hospital Surgical Facilities and Telemedicine. Throughout her three decades of practice, She has appeared before all levels of courts in Alberta, as well as before various administrative law tribunals. To complement her law practice, Rose devotes substantial time as an active and valuable member of the legal and medical community. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, where she lectures on medical legal issues fo faculty members, practicing physicians, residents and students. She also serves the medical communities across Canada as an executive member of the Medical Council of Canada as Chair of its Appeals Committee. She is also a council member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
