Lou Omerzu retires

Lou Omerzu retires after 44 years of service

Congratulations to Lou Omerzu who will retire on June 30, 2016 after 44 years of outstanding service to the Department of Psychology and University. During his career Lou has contributed significantly to the technical support of our research and teaching, and has been a central figure in shaping technical services in the department. In recognition of his work, Lou received the Information Technology Unsung Hero Award provided by the Vice-President, Information Technology in 2012, and the Nat Rutter Outstanding Technician of the Year Award from the UofA Chapter of Sigma Xi Research Society in 2015.

Lou will be in the department tying up projects until the end of June, so please stop by to offer congratulations. The department will celebrate Lou at the Fall Welcoming Celebration in September.
