WISEST STEM Mentoring Series
This series was created to engage junior high and high school students. STEM graduate students and STEM professionals discuss a variety of topics throughout the series and share their experiences with how they pursued/are pursuing their career in STEM.
Videos were released in May 2020 on our Youtube, Facebook and Instagram pages for ease of accessibility.
Each video also has a corresponding worksheets (in google doc, word doc and PDF formats) that helps guide a student’s reflection about the material presented. Teachers, you may use this as a way to grade for participation. All questions were submitted in May 2020 to be used in the Q&A segment. If there are questions that your students have that they would like us to answer in future mentoring series, please submit them to wisest.outreach@ualberta.ca.
