Augustana Campus has a rich and vibrant research community. Faculty members are engaged in research projects locally, nationally and internationally. Many Augustana professors also include undergraduate students in unique research experiences.


Research Centres

  • Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities

    A joint venture between Augustana and the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences, the Centre assists rural communities in meeting diverse challenges through fostering dialogue, promoting research, and developing partnerships.

  • Chester Ronning Centre for the Study of Religion and Public Life

    The Chester Ronning Centre for the Study of Religion and Public Life is a gathering point within a public university in Canada focusing on a broad range of themes where religion and public life intersect.

  • Augustana Miquelon Lake Research Station

    Built in June 2015 in Miquelon Lake Provincial Park, the station was developed to address a broad spectrum of research questions and learning opportunities.
