Why Us?

Experience the Augustana Advantage

As a small campus of the U of A, our size and exclusive focus on undergraduate education allow us to be exceptionally responsive to your needs and provide you with the individual attention you deserve.

2nd Year Student

“The most rewarding part of my Augustana experience has been seeing the effort my professors put into their classes. Each professor has their own way of engaging their class, and when I saw this effort it's almost as if it urged me to show my appreciation, which was reflected in my marks.”

Men's Volleyball

“Being a student-athlete at Augustana has always provided me with the opportunity to enhance my transferable skills, both on and off the court. One of my favorite memories as a Viking was playing in the 2018-19 Volleyball Provincials!”

Territorial Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather, traditionally known as asiniskaw sipisis (Stoney Creek), is Treaty 6 territory and a traditional meeting ground for many Indigenous peoples. The land on which the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta is located provided a travelling route and home to the Maskwacis Nêhiyawak, Niitsitapi, Nakoda, and Tsuut'ina Nations, the Métis, and other Indigenous peoples. Their spiritual and practical relationships to the land create a rich heritage for our learning and our life as a community.
