Feb 5-8: English and Film Studies Distinguished Visitor Series featuring David Chariandy

Award winning creative writer and thinker, David Chariandy, joins the UofA for a week-long visit during Black History Month. A member of the Royal Society of Canada, Chariandy is the foremost thinker on Black Canadian and Black Global Studies.

His beautifully written books include, I Have Been Meaning to Tell You: A Letter to my Daughter (2018), Soucouyant (2007) and Brother (2017), recently made into a full-length feature film.
