Upload Transcripts to UAlberta Launchpad

For applicants requiring an official transcript, we recommend requesting official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions, that you are done attending, directly from the issuing institution. These transcripts should be sent to the Office of the Registrar at the beginning of September or earlier.

Questions related to transcript items should be relayed to the Office of the Registrar directly.

Transcripts postmarked (via email or mail) on or before the October 2nd Application Deadline will be accepted.

For applicants currently enrolled in post-secondary, the first week of September is the suggested time frame that updated transcripts showing 1st and 2nd term registration be uploaded to your UAlberta Launchpad. This unofficial transcript must be uploaded to the checklist item "Transcript with 1st and 2nd Term Registration". This item is not applicable to applicants who are not registered for classes during the 2026/2027 academic year.

Please note that official transcripts submitted with any “In Progress” grades are not considered “Final.” So, if you have a Transcript with 1st and 2nd Term Registration, your final, official transcript, associated with that institution, will not be checked off until you complete the academic year and send updated transcripts. However, applicants are encouraged to have their issuing institution send these transcripts as soon as they are available. 1st and 2nd term registration can be uploaded to your UAlberta Launchpad. This unofficial transcript must be uploaded to the checklist item "Transcript with 1st and 2nd Term Registration".

If your institution does not show 2nd term registration on transcripts at this time (ie. McMaster, University of Lethbridge etc) or if you are not yet able to register in 2nd term courses (ie. Harvard etc), please submit via your UAlberta Launchpad: a letter/timetable/screenshot/etc. indicating your 2nd term registration status. Please ensure you include your name, the name of the institution, the term, course numbers/names, and the number of credits for each course that you plan on registering for during the 2nd term if available. Should you upload a 1st and 2nd term unofficial transcript without the 2nd term registration status documentation, your transcript will be deemed insufficient and you will need to provide an updated submission on Launchpad.

Application Closes for Fall 2027 Admission, Transcript Deadline

The deadline to complete and submit your Application for Admission and required checklist items and forms is October 2, 2026 at 1:00:00PM MT. Failure to submit a complete Application for Admission will result in your application being closed.

Receipt** (meaning postmarked on or before October 2, 2026) of all official up-to-date transcripts (this does not include Final, Official Transcripts of institutions that you are currently attending) and 1st and 2nd term registration for those applicants currently enrolled in post-secondary, as well as all required supporting documentation. Please refer to your UAlberta Launchpad for document status and details on required supporting documents.

**If you have issued your transcripts accordingly, you should see that reflected in Launchpad in the coming weeks. It can take the Office of the Registrar 4-6 weeks to process transcripts, but as long as your transcripts are postmarked by October 2nd there is no need to worry for the October 2, 2026 deadline.

By the application deadline (October 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM MT), you must upload a complete unofficial transcript - this means a document downloaded from your institution’s student portal and uploaded by you to Launchpad. This transcript should include your full academic history and proof of registration for both the 1st and 2nd terms of the 2026/2027 year. An official transcript issued directly by your institution to the UofA's Office of the Registrar is an alternate option to fulfill the 1st and 2nd term registration checklist item.
