ALBERTA ODD FELLOW REBEKAH VISION SCIENCE GRADUATE STUDENT RESEARCH AWARD

which is based on research ability and contribution to basic and/or clinical vision research related to treatment or prevention of age-related vision loss.


Geoff Casey

for his research developing and characterizing a novel EIAV viral vector for the treatment of Choroideremia

THE MARK MARSHALL DEPARTMENT OF OPHTHALMOLOGY AND VISUAL SCIENCES TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH AWARD

which is focused on cross-disciplinary vision science that will advance the understand and treatment of ocular disease:


Dr. Matthew Benson

for his research on Peroxisomal biogenesis disorders


and


Gawon Han

for her research on developing an automated treatment planning method for radiation therapy



THE HELEN COLBURN SCHOLARSHIP

This award is based on research into the underlying cause(s) and/or method(s) of cure for eye disease.

Selection is based on satisfactory academic achievement, research ability, and contribution to basic and/or clinical vision research

for his research on central serous chorioretinopathy and neovascular age related macular degeneration

Dr. David Plemel

for his research of the ultrasound biomicroscopic analysis of the sutureless scleral fixated intraocular lens


EDWIN ISAAC CLARKE SCHOLARSHIP

which is focused on studying and conducting research in the field of Ophthalmology and Cancer

Beatrice Adamptey

for her research on the risk of hydroxychloroquine retinopathy

Dr. Kelsey Roelofs

for her research in ocular oncology
