Compensation Disclosure

Each year, the University of Alberta shares the names, position, compensation, non-monetary benefits, and severance paid to employees and board members who earn more than the threshold set by the Government of Alberta, per the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act and its regulation.

The threshold for the 2023 calendar year is $150,219.

On June 30, compensation and non-monetary benefits from January 1 to December 31 of the previous calendar year are disclosed, along with severance paid from July 1 to December 31. Severance paid from January 1 to June 30 is disclosed on December 31 of the current calendar year.

The university will email employees who will be on the compensation disclosure list.
