Project Close-out

Funding management process, project account close-out

To effectively close out your project, collaboration with RAS is necessary. This includes conducting final scientific and financial reporting, managing unspent funds, and resolving any outstanding financial matters.

The project end date marks the termination of access to research funds and the eligibility for incurring expenses. It is crucial to ensure that all transactions are posted to the project before the end date to facilitate timely processing within the funding period. You can verify project end dates through the Researcher Home Page in PeopleSoft.

Additional Information

Financial statements are prepared by RAS to meet the reporting requirements of the sponsor. These statements can be accessed through the Grants Life Cycle section on the Researcher Homepage, under the Project Management icon.
